Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic the school will be closed to pupils from 20th March 2020, except for children of keyworkers and vulnerable children. These parents have been informed if their child should be in school.

The guidance remains the same in relation to self-isolation -

Children should not come into school from a household where ANY member of the home has the virus symptoms of:

  • a high temperature (37.8 degrees and above)– you feel hot to touch on your chest or back
  • a new, continuous cough – this means you've started coughing repeatedly

As per the updated Government advice, the WHOLE household must self-isolate:

  • Anyone with symptoms should stay at home for at least 7 days.
  • If you live with other people, they should stay at home for at least 14 days, to avoid spreading the infection outside the home.
  • After 14 days, anyone you live with who does not have symptoms can return to their normal routine.
  • But, if anyone in your home gets symptoms, they should stay at home for 7 days from the day their symptoms start. Even if it means they're at home for longer than 14 days.

If you have any concerns please contact NHS Direct on 111 or via for advice.

We are aware how unsettling this is for all families and will try our hardest to help. Thank you for your support.
